Mexico selected as the most outstanding National Federation 

ORANJESTAD, Aruba, October 28, 2007.- Mexico was elected as the most outstanding National Federation of NORCECA during the past two years by organizing a total of seven events, including two world championships.

Mr. Cristobal Marte, President of NORCECA, presented a plaque to Professor Alejandro Salinas, President of the Mexican National Federation during the closing day of the Nineteenth NORCECA Congress held in the capital of Aruba.

The National Federations of Canada and Dominican Republic were also awarded for its contributions in organizing events in volleyball and beach volleyball at continental and intercontinental levels.

All the members of the Executive Committee joined Marte to present Salinas with the plaque. Mr. Hugh Wong and Mr. Ramon Garcia, presidents of the NF of Canada and Dominican Republic respectively, received their plaques presented by Ms. Marta Centeno de Sajche and Mr. Carlos Beltran.
